GUINNESS SALES & MARKETING TEAM GOES TREASURE HUNTING ACROSS DUBLIN'S PUBS
Guinness has become the latest company to use m-iSphere's SMS-based interactive events. m-iSphere, the mobile interactive marketing specialist, was asked by Originate, a leading Irish marketing agency, to implement and deploy an interactive Treasure Hunt on behalf of the Guinness Sales & Marketing team.
The treasure hunt is to send staff of the Guinness Sales & Marketing team from pub to pub along two different routes. A clue is sent by SMS to each player, who, once arrived at the right pub, is given a keyword to be sent back by SMS. Players then receive the next clue, and so on. To improve the interactivity of the event, m-iSphere has implemented a help function: if lost, a player can reply with the word "help", and m-iSphere's system then generates automatically an SMS to the event organiser prompting her to call this member of staff at such number.
